Ways To Serve

Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My brethren, you did it for Me.

Matthew 25:40

Volunteer Needs

Crucial Needs

  • Two-story house with a finished basement to facilitate dinner and Bible Study for the single mom's group.  We usually start at 6:30 p.m. and dismiss by 8:30 p.m. Dinner is usually potluck with the leader providing the main dish if possible.  A childcare provider will take care of the children while the Moms have some time just to relax and get to know others in the group.

  • A leader, facilitator, and Bible teacher is needed to direct a Wednesday night Bible Study for single moms and their children once a month

Occasional Needs

  • Prepare the main dish for the Wednesday night Bible study for single moms (Approx. 20 attendees) This group meets the 3rd Wed. of every month.

  • Be on stand-by for single moms who need help getting to and from their jobs when they are without transportation.  Assistance with getting their automobile towed or to a mechanic.

  • Set up a meal train program for single moms who have lost a loved one

  • Send flowers and cards to all moms who are sick or who have lost a loved one,

  • Organize the clothing needs for a single mom's family.  Determine the sizes of clothing, and shoes and gather donations as needed.
